Carrots But Apples Are Okay!

Hi Jordan! I hear that you are doing so much better everyday! That is so great! I cannot wait until you are better and back in school! Abby is really sad that she's going to have to wait longer for you to come and ride her. She wanted to make sure you knew she preferred carrots but apples are okay too! This Sunday is your Windham Track Fundraiser, the turnout will be great, I'm sure! Everyone is so supportive and cannot wait to check the blog to see how you are!

Get Well Soon!

THURSDAY, 9/14

Hi Everyone.
This week has gone by quickly for me. I tried to post on Tuesday but it didn't work!?!
Jordan is still in a coma (which is not drug induced), and continues to progress very slowly.
It is hard to keep updating daily or every other day because things can change so quickly.
She had a really good weekend and the "Team" was pleased with her status to that date, however, some of her medicines changed and her medical status changed yesterday and today.
On Wednesday, the therapists tried putting Jordan and me in a tub in the birthing unit. Although I loved being able to hold her in my arms ~ Jordan's responses were that it was not something she wanted to do. We thought it would relax her and it was exactly the opposite. Jordan has 4 different kinds of therapy (2 of them twice a day). You can tell that this really takes a lot of energy for her to do. She is such a fighter. We BELIEVE her strength comes from and is thanks to ALL OF YOU who are behind her supporting her, praying for her and all of the well wishes for her from everyone, everywhere. Jimmy & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so blessed to have such a "huge" support system and the hospital is amazed by all of this support. This is what gets us through every minute, hour, day. Thank you as well for all of the fundraising that is going on as well. We are truely overwhelmed and can only say "Thank You" at this time which is not enough but the only thing we can do at this time.
Friday is another plan to put Jordan in water and see how she does. She has been put in a wheelchair and wheeled around a bit and seems to tollerate that well. We try to get her into the wheelchair once a day so she can get out of bed and out of her room for stimulation. Her progress is very slow at this time but it is still PROGRESS. So please keep the prayers, well wishes and thoughts of Jordan coming. WE BELIEVE they are working and she knows we are waiting for her for as long as this takes.
We love you~ Brenda, Jimmy & Jordan
Hey Jordan, Brenda, and Jimmy!

I can't wait to come in and visit all of you guys!! It is so great hearing your progress through out the day. I was so happy to hear that you smiled!! Your such a strong girl and I know that you can fight through this.
BELIEVE!

Love always,
Kayla Dugas :)

Hi Jordan Bea!

Hey Jordan! It's Alyssa. I'm just checking up on you to see how you are doing. I've heard great news about your recovery. Everyone at school misses you and hopes that you will be back soon! Windham has prepared a lot of fundraisers for you, and we're raising a lot of money for your fund. Just a couple days ago I was at Beechridge with Ashleigh, Sally and Kayla. We were there watching Dan race. He came in second. Beechridge is doing some fundraisers for you as well. They're are selling quilts and stuff with your picture in them. They are raffling off some T-shirts with you on them. I hope you feel well soon! School is definatly not the same without you! We BELIEVE in you Jordan Bea!!!

Lots and lots and lots of love from one of your friends for life,
Alyssa
