I'm so proud of you Jordan! You've come such a long way. I understand how you need your space but I can't wait to come in and see you again! I'm so glad to hear that you are talking and whispering. I can't wait until you are back at home! I miss you so much! Did you know that when you lay down in bed each night, you grow? Well, now you are the exact height as me. 5" 2'. That's big news. HI again, jordy! i was just scanning over my favorite blog that brenda wrote (which is obviously the one were she spilled about you talking!!!!) when i saw that brenda said that you were now 5 foot 2"!!!!!!!! When we were younger i remember our parents reffering to you as 'little jordan'!!!! well, your not so little anymore! just to clarify the difference in height we are now (i was always taller than you!) you are......4 inches taller than me! seems like eveyone is taller than me nowadays..........I MISS U SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

AMAZING FAMILY !
Wednesday night we got to meet the most amazing family ever!!
We cannot thank you enough Greta, Sadie and Lacey for coming down to meet us.
Sadie - you are so beautiful and such an inspiration to us all!
Greta - you are an amazing mother and I hope your girls (& boys) realize that! You are my
role model. I hope to be half as strong as you are!
Lacey - you are beautiful as well. In body and spirit. What an amazing sister you are!
Sadie your talk must have worked for Jordan because today she started talking (well whispering to us). We hope that you all will be lifelong friends with us and I cannot wait for the day I can bring Jordan up to your place! She will love hanging out with the girls.

FRIDAY - OCTOBER 19TH
Hi Everyone!
We have been very busy for the last 2 weeks and Jordan has been making amazing progress. She is speaking now in a "whisper" voice. Yesterday it was just yes & no and today she is answering all questions asked of her. She even whispered to the nurse "leave me alone". She has made a lot of people cry today (including me) but HAPPY TEARS! It is so good to hear her speak. She whispered "Hi Dad" when Jimmy came in tonight. This is such a great day. She is continuing to hold her head up more and more and she can stand and pivot to get into the wheelchair and big chair on her right leg. The left side is still the same but her arm is looser and they plan on injecting more botox in her left leg, knee and ankles to see if they can loosen up the contractured muscles. She is very aggresive these days meaning she is extremely frustrated on what has happened to her. She will try to bite, scratch, dig, pinch and kick you if you are near her. This is the stage she is going through right now but they tell us this is normal for this type of injury. I just hope this stage doesn't take that long. I already need a new pair of glasses and I would love to shave my hair off so Jordan cannot pull it anymore. She has bitten me a couple of times pretty bad. She was also able to be put in a stander. This is a device to stand her up but she is safely strapped in and it is on wheels. I pushed her around the wing and she smiled and waved to the nurses and doctors. Some special nurses even came over for hugs & kisses. Jordan seemed to really like this as she was upright and the same height as everyone. They measured her. She is now 5 feet 2 inches tall! I think they are feeding her miracle grow in here!! She is eating 3 meals a day (still pureed food) but she is still being fed also through her G-tube until she can chew & swallow food normally. This is coming along well. Everyone on the Team is very excited about Jordan's progress these last 2 weeks. She is working very hard.
So long for now because I cannot wait to go back in and listen to her whisper to us.
Just so you all know I have moved home and I am not staying at Ronald McDonald house anymore. I travel back and forth every day now. The drive in kills me but Jordan has someone with her 24 hours a day now that they call a "sitter" to make sure she does not get out of bed and fall and hurt herself. I feel better knowing someone is with her and I am trying to get a little bit of the "real world" feeling back. I went to the grocery store Monday night and it felt so strange and I didn't know what to get for food. It all felt very strange to me.
Our old house is now gone and our new house is beautiful. I can't wait for the day to bring Jordan home. They are still predicting by Christmas! That is the only present we need!

You have been providing some great comic relief. As usual, I love to embarass your mom and tease her. She's been telling me about this "McDreamy" doctor of yours and I have only seen him once or twice briefly. While he is no Patrick Dempsey, he is handsome. The other day I asked in front of the doctor, your dad, and mom if you thought he was a "McDreamy" of course you have good taste and gave the thumbs up. We all chuckled and the doctor thanked you and you immediately gave him the thumbs down. It was so funny! Your still so full of zest and I love it. Maybe you'll even get a "McSteamy" doctor...I'll be in there all day and night if you do, ha! For those that don't know, watch Grey's Anatomy and you'll meet McDreamy and McSteamy and be hooked to the show! I can't wait to come see you today. I'll make sure to bring in some fun nail polish so I can paint your nails again.

Fundraiser for Jordan!
Next Fundraiser Event: Is at Montebello's Ristorante in Raymond on Sunday, November 11, 2007. It is a spaghetti and Meatball Dinner Accompanied by Salad Bar and Bread. There will also be a Comedy Show to follow. Dinner is only $15.00 per person; Dinner plus the show is $25.00 per person. The Dinner is from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and the Comedy Show is from 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Sorry I haven't written in a while...so many things going on...AHHH..I hope you are doing very well. I have heard some good progress! I am so excited. im hoping that pat and shawn stopped by sunday like they intended...if so you know that me and desi made you 3 posters...if not now you do...i hope you enjoyed our version of the horses in foam...lol...it was fun to make it...and then writeing out "jordan we love you" with the foam...oh and our letter was fun too...it took the most thoughts and time...but we would've written more if we werent rushing to go clean the bunk room...we shook out all the sleeping bags to get rid of mouse tracks...and saturday we did wood all day...but shawn and pat treated everyone to ice cream sundeas...they were yummifull...but we really missed you...no wheelers were brought up so we couldnt even go see your cool "fire lit" fridge...i was very sad...i miss your fridge,,,but i miss you even more!!! well i g2g get back to classwork...love emily

Hi, You may not even know who I am but I went to the races every weekend and was going to be a Wiz Kid racer till this happen. I am very envoled in racing and know a lot about it. I am very sorry about what happen and that Jordan and family is in my prays and I thik of you every day any time. Jordan has been a fighter ande I will always believe in her.
