I was so happy that we got to come in and visit. You look amazing. You have made so much progress, I am so proud of you. Every time that you smiled it lit up the whole room. It was amazing to see how much you could lift your left leg and arm, talk, the list just keeps going on and on! Believe!

This is the first real time ive talked to you on IM since the accident! you made my day today! it was awesome to finally talk to you again on IM!! and i was so happy when you told me you are doing better everyday!

Hi Jim, Brenda & Jordan,
What great news that you were able to come home and snuggle! I apologize for not writing sooner, but have been constantly checking the blog for updates. Jim is on vacation this week with Dave and Walt.....can't wait to share some stories with you. Hopefully, we are all on the mend and can get together soon. MONDAY, November 12th

THANK YOU VETRANS! First lets thank the Vetrans for supporting our Country on this Holiday!!
If anyone saw what you thought was Jordan in a vehicle in Windham on Saturday - you were right! We brought Jordan home for the day on Saturday. She saw her new home and especially her room and snuggled with Mittens, Princess, Biscuit and PeeWee (and don't forget Grammy too). Grammy made an awesome lunch of Pot Roast, Potatoes and carrots. Jordan ate a very big lunch and then dad & I got to take a 2 1/2 hour nap with her in her bed in her room. Thank goodness she has a queen size bed! The three of us all slept better than we have in 3 months!
Jordan was very happy to be home and very sad to have to go back to the hospital.
We stopped in at Crystal Wards on the way back (Jordan pointed the way to get to her house) and (you are going to kill me Crystal & Amber) we also stopped in at It Takes Two Farm because Jordan wanted to see the horses. There was a horse show going on and I didn't want to interrupt or bother anyone in the middle of the show so I didn't say anything. We told Jordan we would come back to see them on another day pass from the hospital. The next one will be Thanksgiving. We will bring her home that day for a couple of hours so that she can eat and rest after dessert before coming back to the hospital. It really tires her out just for the car ride home. Today is a Holiday at the hospital so she had some therapy's this morning but not her regular schedule. Auntie & I took her outside for a walk around the block and up to the park just to get her some "fresh" air. Her new wheelchair should be delivered tomorrow. She also has what they call a (STANDER). This allows us to strap her in lying down and then pull a lever that brings her body up to the "standing position". She seems so tall when they stand her up and this allows the blood circulation to her legs. If you think about it she has not stood up for 3 months and that is a very long time. She still has very little movement in her left leg but she tries every day to move it. We are working with two different types of splints to straighten out her left arm. The muscles in her left arm are very tight and need to be stretched because they are stuck in that position. She made some noises today and we need to just keep working on her repeating over and over until she figures out how to use her vocal cords again. Thank you to all her friends for visiting her. She really misses you and just so you know when she asks you to leave she tells me minutes to go get you and bring you back to see her again.

I came down with a bad sore throat and a stuffy nose. I was sssooo bummed that I couldn't come in to see you. I promise that I will be in there as soon as I get rid of this cold. You have come such a long way Jordan Bea!! Keep up the good work!! After I read your last blog, I put in my Cheetah Girls CD and listened to it. Twice. I will never forget the songs we used to sing. Or the dances we made up. When I think back now they were pretty weird. I BELIEVE in you Jordan Bea!! I LOVE you sssoooo much!!! I have FAITH. Stay STRONG!! Hi Jordan! Oh my gosh, you are doing so great! I jumped for joy when I read that you got to go to McDonald's! (Literally, I did!) That must have been awesome! There's nothing like good junk food! Ha ha!
I have to say Jordan, I am so proud of you. When I first heard of your accident back in August, I have to admit that I had my doubts, but I knew in my heart and mind that you would be absolutely fine! And look at you! I was right! You really blew so many people's minds and I know there are many who consider you their role model and hero. I am one of them! You are amazing. So strong. I've been remembering all of the jokes and conversations we've had on the Colby and Ithaca teams! I really miss you so much! You are supposed to be on Yale with me again this year too, so hurry back! I miss talking to you and would want nothing more than to share more jokes, laughs, and smiles! I have become obsessed with this blog too! I check it a million times a day waiting to see more good news about you! And believe me, with all of the progress you have made over the past few months and especially the past few weeks, you have brightened so many of my days! You have so many people praying for you and believing in you Jordan! I bet you always will. You have become one of the most special and respected people Windham has seen! Really! We all love you!
You mean so much to me Jordan! I can't wait until you can come home! Maybe I'll get to come see you! I'll post again soon! I love you! Believe!
