Thursday, August 30th

Hi Everyone-

As you saw from Jenny's note ~ the night before last Jordan had her own spa treatment. The nurses are having fun with her. They put her hair in two french braids, she got a massage and her toenails painted hot pink. They even shaved her legs!! (please don't tell Jordan I told you that!) They said when they got done around 5:30am she was so relaxed. I'm sure it felt so good to her.
We have to say we are very saddened about the press hounding us day after day. We have requested that they give us the space and PRIVACY we deserve at this VERY DIFFICULT TIME!! however, they have choosen to do things anyway against our wishes. Please do not listen to anything that is said or printed unless it is from a reliable source! They choose to take things off of these websites so remember anything you print can be used against you.
We HAVE NOT and WILL NOT grant any information regarding Jordan and her status. So please forgive us for being more private and cautious as to who we talk to with information as we go forward. However we will NOT STOP this site as it is our support and lifeline to all of you and we are so greatful we have this.

Update: Jordan is doing great. She has gotten stronger each day. She is now getting the nutrition and feeds that she needs. She is so beautiful and the nurses and doctors are amazed with her strength in the last 2 days. She is still asleep and resting.

We THANK EVERYONE for their prayers, love, support and the fund raising that is being done.
It is our belief that this energy is what will bring her back to us and keep her healing everyday.
WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Love,

Brenda, Jimmy & Jordan

WEDNESDAY

Hi Everyone!
I want to start by saying that the local media does not have approval and has never interviewed us for any reports that are happening and will not. It saddens us to think this is being done against our will and an invasion of our privacy at this VERY DIFFICULT time.
On the flip side - I can't help but be excited to see how much Jordan has improved since Saturday! I called her nurse at 5:30am this morning and she told me Jordan had just had a spa treatment. Some nurses got together and french braided her hair in two braids & painted her toenails "hot pink" and Jordan was sleeping very deeply after her massage. I don't know about you but whenever I have anything done like that it relaxes me and puts me to sleep as well. I couldn't wait to see her this morning and , as always she looks so BEAUTIFUL!! She is having some more tests done today but nothing she can't handle.
She is so amazing and I can't wait for those of you who haven't met Jordan to meet her someday. She will melt your heart!!
The request at this time is still no visitors.

Again - THANK YOU EVERYONE and keep those positive prayers and support coming! We all need it. We love reading all of the messages.
Also thank you for the fundraising we are hearing about. We are truely greatful and amazed!

Love, Brenda, Jordan & Jimmy
Hi Everyone,

Well it's Tuesday morning and I cant help but be a little sad as I know today would have been Jordan's first day in 8th grade. I don't think she was really looking forward to the school work but she SURELY was looking forward to her friends & teachers! I hope you all will keep notes so she doesn't miss out on ANY gossip! Girls.....I'm counting on you! And boys don't be afraid to send her a line! She liked you too!!
It also makes me sad that she is not going to Crystals every Monday for her lessons. She couldn't wait each week and would count down the days.
Update:
Jordan is doing MUCH better and they are talking maybe by Friday she could come back to the Barbara Bush wing if she keeps on improving like she is. She is way stronger that Jimmy or I even knew! She is resting comfortably and is looking so much better hour to hour. We are requesting no visitors because Jordans tollerance to getting infections is down and we cannot take any risks that she may get sick again.Again - we had no idea how many hearts have touched her and we are ALL building on the strengths of prayers and well wishes! We cannot thank you all enough for this. The staff here is truely amazed by the support behind Jordan. She is a VERY SPECIAL girl!!
Thank you for the fund raisers, cards and e-mails and "Bring them On"!
We are ALL going to get through this together and be an amazing support for Jordan throughout her life!
WE LOVE YOU! Love, Brenda, Jordan & Jimmy

Your cousin Kyle checking in - Laura and I are thinking of you over here in Concord. We know how many people are praying for you (even my boss is asking about you daily!) and everyone knows how strong you are. We're all proud of how strong you've been. See you soon. Love Kyle & Laura

Barbara Bush - 645

Jordan has officially moved to the Barbara Bush Wing!! She had her trache taken out today and is doing well. They monitored her for a couple of hours to make sure she was o.k. to transition upstairs. Although she is still in a coma she is coughing like you & I do to get all that "yucky" stuff up and is swallowing like she should.
The only thing she has hooked to her is the feeding tube so she can get nutrition that she needs. Now it is up to Jordan to decide when she wants to wake up. I am going to sleep in her room tonight !! and her room has a birds eye view of the Sea Dogs Field so we can watch the games. It is nice and roomy and much quieter than the ICU. Although we will miss all of her nurses (who were great and give great care, support and hugs!) , we will not miss the alarms and noises of the "trauma section". Maybe with the piece and quiet and Jimmy and I with her Jordan will come out of her shell she has put herself in to heal. Please keep the prayers and support coming!
We Love You ALL and thank you from the bottom of our hearts ~ Jimmy, Brenda and Jordan

Keepit up Jordan

Hi to you all,

I have been watching Jordan's progress since I found the site. Brenda and Jimmy, you are so strong! No wonder Jordan is fighting so hard. She has you two watching over her, encouraging her every day, talking to her, letting her rest. So many people are praying for her recovery and genuinely care about your precious little girl. She is such a dear child (not unlike her Mom), God, I am sure, is watching over her and will bring her back to you. Take care of yourselves too.

Love and prayers,
Joan Crocker

!!!!! HI !!!!!!!!

HELLO JORDAN I AM HAPPY TO HEAR HOW GOOD YOU ARE DOING. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! YOU WILL BACK WITH US SOON!!!! I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU BACK TO THE LITTLE BALL OF FIRE THAT WE ALL KNOW YOU ARE. CRYSTAL

close at heart

Dear Jordan, Brenda, and Jimmy,
We have been lifting you up in our prayers and keeping you close at heart these last two weeks. Today's news was nice to read! Hope to see you in person soon - we've been saving special hugs for you all!
Love, Cathy, Steve, Ben, and Molly

Wednesday 11:45am

It is hard to believe that it will be 2 weeks tonight that this nightmare began. We have just talked with the trauma team and the plan is to take Jordan's (trach) out today and move her up to the Barbara Bush Wing. That means she can control her own secretions and swallow on her own so they do not feel she needs the hole for an airway anymore. This is very good! They just put it on on Friday! Although she is still in a coma she is receiving PT & OT therapy. They will talk to us about moving her to another facility. The ones we have looked at so far are in Atlanta, GA or Boston, Mass. They have not given us any time frames. It was explained to us that other facilities can start treating her in the coma state to try to bring her out of it. We are extremely PROUD of Jordan and her accomplishments so far. She has never taken a step backwards. We believe that she just needs more time to sleep to heal her brain. ALL other vital signs are great and her body is strong and healthy. She is fighting this fight and so are we!!
Love to you ALL & thanks again for all of the prayers, e-mails, cards and phone calls.
Keep it up & keep us going. We LOVE you ALL!! Brenda, Jordan and Jimmy

Hi there Sunshine....

I just wanted to send a note to tell you how great it was to see you today. Every step you have accomplished makes everyone feel so thankful. So many people are behind you!!! Keep up the great work Jordan Bea...WE BELIEVE!!! Love you, Terry

Hi Everyone - It's us again

It's Tuesday a.m. I couldn't sleep much last night thinking about Jordan. Her surgery was for her Tracheotomy and she was given a feeding tube in her belly. (i have no idea how to spell these words). It means that Jordan is breathing on her own and is getting fed and she has already had 1 1/2 bottles of what we call (frosty or chocolate milkshake). What I meant by her face is now there is nothing on her face to stop me from kissing her forehead, eyes, nose, lips, cheeks, ears - (I think you get the picture!) I got to get in bed with her a couple of times. I know she is too old for that but I just cant help it. I love all of your stories and as I am reading I am remembering her telling me and laughing myself about it. She has the best group of friends!! She is still sleeping and we are trying to keep her visits short and not too much talking but enough for her to know we are there. Jimmy and I feel so proud that she has touched so many hearts. Right now all we can do is thank you ALL for your substantial support, cards, phone calls and e-mails. We are in this for the "long-haul" and will fight the fight! We have a saying now ~ "bring it on!". Everytime I loose it someone is always there to pick me back up, brush me off, and throw me back in with a good attitude. We are staying at the Ronald McDonald House - Jimmy said it's his version of "Aunt Bea" on Andy Griffith. They are so good to us. We did go home to get some of Jordans clothes yesterday. She looked good in her Windham Soccer shirts (see below) and her favorite cropped sweat pants. They will be putting her in her own clothes now everyday. The outpouring support and generosity of all of you has touched our hearts deeply and more than you will ever know. We are hoping for another good day and as the saying goes "bring it on!" We Love You ALL!! Keep the hope & faith as we will also. She may be small but she is one tough cookie! Love, Jimmy, Brenda & Jordan

Thinking of you all

Hello Jimmy, Brenda and Jordan,
Just wanted to let you know that we are all thinking of you. My parents wanted me to let you know that they are keeping Jordan in their prayers as well. If we can be of any help just let us know.
Jordan, I am glad to hear that your surgery went well. It sounds like your body is doing what it needs to do to heal.
All your friends here at the farm ask about you and send their get well wishes. I will never forget what a little peanut you were when we first met. My gosh your legs weren't long enough to get past the saddle and pads to the horses side to get them going! But that wasn't going to stop you...just like this won't.
You all take care and I hope to see you soon.
Love,
Crystal, Amber, Dill, Meme and Bumpa
And of course....Arissa, Missy, Tanner, Daisy, Elmo, Dolly, Annie, Gus, Ace, Tuffy, Reba, Emma and Bailey.
Emma sends a "HEEEEEEEHAW" your way!

Hey! Hows it goin? i heard you had some surgery a couple days back. i hope you feel better now. I was just thinking about when you were last up at my camp and at the beach we borrowed a pail from this little two year old's mother and the girl threw a fit, ran across the beach and took it away from us! we laughed so hard! and the time before that when we ate that edible paper? I really dont think it was edible!!!

Love, Spring P.
PS---my love to brenda and jim! kno that im praying 4 u!!!
PPS---yes, that is sally and alyssa in the background!!!!!!

Hey!

Hey Brenda, Jimmy and Jordan. I was looking at some of the posts that people have put on this blog and they made me laugh. Alyssa put some really funny things that we have done on the blog. Like the time when we were at Ashleigh's house and we had to go in and get Dan's boxers! Haha, that was hilarious. Jordan, we have had so many good times. I know that after you get better there will be so many more good times to come! Sorry I haven't come in to see you lately. We have been busy and I know you have been busy too, with your surgery and stuff. I am glad that it all went well! Hope to see you soon! My thoughts and prayers are with you everyday.

All my love,
Sally Coggins

Hi Jordan, Brenda & Jimmy

Hi guys!
It's Alyssa.
Here are some of the greatest memories we've ever had! I'm sure you'll remember them.
When Angela broke the rocking chair and the table. We laughed so hard! Also when Spring popped her jell ice pack all over the blue plastic chair and left a stain all over it! When I had my first sleepover and we changed into pjs and you came out with pj bottoms and a bra on! We looked at you like you had three heads!! Do you remember for your birthday me and Sally gave you bags of cheese! You also told us that you went to the North Pole and that it was very cold! All right last one. Me, You, Sally, Spring and Ashleigh were celebrating Ashleigh's birthday and we played chicken and we had to steal Dan's boxers and throw M&Ms into Dan and Missy's bed. I hope you feel better! I can't wait to see you again! I'll keep in touch! SMILE!

Hi Jimmy, Brenda & Jordan

Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you and your family everyday. We hope that you are feeling better and stronger so you can come home soon.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

BELIEVE, HAVE HOPE and KEEP THE FAITH

That's what we are doing for you every minute of every day! We believe in you.....and your recovery. This is just one teeny, tiny stepping stone in a very long and happy, healthy life for you. Shaggy (aka Brandon) Bihm and I have been coming in to give Mom and Dad support and can't wait for the day when we see your smiling face again. We had our friend Chris Rule make a sticker for the hood of Princess Brandon's race car just for you. I am attaching the picture so you can see how much we love you and want you to get better! Jimmy and Brenda.....just BELIEVE, HOPE and have FAITH....... We love you guys!!!!

Love,
