Hi Jordan! I read your mom's post; it's good to know what you're up to! I'm really sorry you don't like it much in Boston, but in three weeks you'll be out! That's sooner than before right?! Just stay postitive and the days will go by sooner than you realize! I was so happy to hear that you would be going to New Hampshire to see the horses today! That's great! And tomorrow you will be "touring" around Boston! That'll be awesome! Even though you don't like the hospital in Boston, you've got to love Boston itself! I hope you have fun!
If I don't get to post again before Tuesday, I want to wish the Emerson family a very merry Christmas! We all have so much to be thankful for this year, and I agree, Jordan's recovery is the best Christmas present anyone could get!!! Merry Christmas!

Hey Jordan Bea!! It's Alyssa. I MISS you sssooo much and by what you said in your blog you don't really like it there. That's too bad. It will get better though. You just need to get settled in and get used to being there. From the sounds of it, you won't be down there for much longer though. You're out of there in three weeks?!?! But you not liking it there will make the day passes a whole lot better! It's gonna be really cool to go to New Hampshire to see your horse. I can already tell you Christmas will be good!!! Are you in the Christmas spirit?!?! I am!!! Because it is Christmas time... I keep on thinking of the North Pole... you're gonna have to refresh my memory of what it like up there. Because, I mean, you've been there before. Right??? Anyway, we had a Christmas assembly but it was much better last year!!! We really need some new sixth graders. They're really wierd and they're really quiet at assemblies. When we sang The 12 Days of Christmas at the end of the whole thing, they were incredebly quiet. And starting today I am on vacation!!! I'm coming up to see you sometime real soon. Sometime during vacation. I LOVE you and MISS you sssoo much. I really HOPE that you come around to like where you are!!! I can't wait to hear you talk. FRIDAY ~ DECEMBER 21st

Happy Birthday Grammy!
Hi Everyone. Sorry I haven't gotten to post anything until tonight. There is only one computer and it is very hard to get access to it.
Jordan & I are trying to settle in down here. It has been extremely difficult and we are VERY HOMESICK!!! Things are very different and not at all the way we are used to things.
It is distgusting (Jordan's words exactly). I have to say I agree. I have been sick for a week.
We found out today we will be here for another 3 weeks. Jordan is going to have surgery somewhere between Jan. 3rd - 10th on her vocal cords. She cannot talk without this surgery.
We want to hear more than whispers.
We cannot come home for Christmas as it is too far to travel BUT we have been cleared to go to Shawn & Patti's for the day so Jordan can be with her horse on Christmas. We will make the best for Christmas day for Jordan and we will celebrate again late January at home with a tree and holiday dinner and family & friends.
We are thankful to have Jordan for Christmas and that is all we want.
We have been blessed and thank each and every one of you for everything you have done for our family. We "BELIEVE".
Tomorrow we have a day pass to go to NH and Sunday we have been cleared to take her out around Boston.
Jordan and I are missing all of you terribly. We are trying to rush through each day to get home. We really miss Barbara Bush unit and all of the staff there. It was an amazing send off they did for Jordan and extremely emotional for me to leave. Jordans plan is to ride the "TRAIN" home when we come home for good. We are going to try to make it as exciting as possible.

This is the 553rd post on this blog! Wow!!!! Ida and I went around to a lot of the Middle School classrooms on Friday and Monday - we didn't get a chance to do the 6th graders but we got to the 7th graders and the 8th graders. You should get the letters any day now because the school sent them yesterday I think! Ida and I didn't get to write a letter and send it with the group of letters - but you hear from us everyday whether its on this blog, seeing you, or emailing you! Unfortunatley, the "seeing you" part hasn't occured since you went to Boston! But we aren't worrying - we are definately going to visit you asap!!! I don't exactly know when but I definately want to see you, the new place, and your new room! Is the food better, worse, or the same as Maine Med?

Keep up the fabulous - terrific - awesome - superb - outstanding - unbelievable - brave - tremendous - and splendid work!!!

I have to end the letter now - Bode just stole the cushon off of the bench in our breezeway!!! You know him!! He's on Santa's Naughty list but his cuteness factor got him moved to the nice list.

As a matter of fact I was even supposed to sing a solo last night in a chorus concert and I had to skip it and Mr. Kent had to find a replacement, actually I think that it was Spring that replaced me! I really miss you not being in Maine, but it is for the best. Does Boston have a lot of Snow? Maine does. You will be back in Maine before you know it those 60 days will go by soooo fast. I am trying to get my mom to go to Boston so then I can see you.. Anyways I heard that Poki got out of his Paster. He sunk out when they were filling there water bucket. Do not worried They got him :). When I first heard it I was like OH No thinking they could not get him! They did. Only 4 more day of school left in till Christmas break And only 8 more days until Christmas! YAY. You get that nice horse blanket for your horse!!!! I am hoping to get horse things to! How is Boston?! I hope you're doing WONDERFUL! I bet you are, I mean you did so good in Maine that you're all the way down to BOSTON! Ashleigh & I were laughing at lunch about how when we were at Ashleigh's house we left Kaya downstairs with the HUGE spider that you and me were COMPLETELY freaking out about! And when we ran upstairs and left Harley & Bud out there! LOL! We were sitting on her bed then all the sudden you look outside the door and go "Guys!.. I see something!" and we're like "JORDAN! STOP!" and you go " No seriously guys.. I see something!" Then Ashleigh goes and shuts the door! Oh and don't forget you and me had to go to the bathroom so bad! And I'm like "Jordan!... come with me!" And you go "I'm scared....!!" So I set up the thing where two of us would be standing outside the bathroom door just in case some scary people came! And in the beginning... Sierra... the trampoline.. ENOUGH SAID!LOL! So funny! We need to have more moments like that, I was REALLY scared that day though! I think we all were!
