Hey Jordan, Don't worry about the little bumps in the road. I know that you can get past them ALL. Some of them will be bigger then the others but as long as you never stop trying to get through them I know that you make it to the end of the long bumpy road all in good time. Don't ever give up no matter how hard it seems to you. We are all on the side of the road cheering you on all of the way, no matter how long it takes you to make it to the end. ANOTHER "BUMP IN THE ROAD"-No Visits this weekend

Hi Everyone.
Hope you had a Happy Halloween. Jordan dressed up as Minnie the Mouse and they had a big parade on the Barbara Bush Wing yesterday @ noon. She met the Portland Pirates and boy were they cute!! (Right Jenny!?!!) Some of you may have seen Jordan on Channel 6 news for a split second. When we came back to the room I could tell Jordan was having an "off" day. She has not felt good for a couple of days. Yesterday afternoon she kept getting worse every hour.
She had 3 different X-Rays last night and neither she or I slept all night. She had a lot of different tests to try to figure out what is going on. She went for a Cat Scan today and we are still awaiting the "Team of Doctors" to tell us what the next step is. Jordan has an infection and I have the flu. I have been wearing a mask all day today. The nurses are tending to me as well as to Jordan. I feel useless. I guess it is finally starting to catch up with me. I am awaiting the results from Jordans doctors so I can go home and try to get some sleep tonight. I will let you know what the results are and for now we are asking for
NO VISITORS OVER THIS WEEKEND. I sure don't want anyone to catch the flu and we need Jordan to get better as well. I will keep you posted.

Hi Jordan! Happy Halloween! It was nice to see you on Sunday! Sarah and I were very excited to be able to visit you! Are they still feeding you the scrambled eggs or did Sarah's dad convince them not to?! :) You are very strong and easily beat us at the thumb wars!! Brenda, Jimmy and Jordan, Everyday I come to this blog and everyday it keeps sounding better and better. Your the strongest girl I know Jordan!!! BELIEVE! People I work with that know nothing about racing ask me all the time how Jordan Bea is doing... It's so fun to tell them your progess and see the smiles in their faces. The day Craig (Bernier) told me you spoke I actually cried tears of joy! Brenda, I don't think we have ever met but Jimmy knows my family and my husband, but you are the strongest women I have ever seen. Your what a MOM is all about. I see where Jordan gets her courage and strength. Thank you so much for the updates it is sooo great coming here and seeing your posts. I thought I had it pinned down to Wednesdays you were blogging updates but you have thrown me off the last couple of weeks and it has been a pleasant surprise.I will continue to hope and pray for you all.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

Hi Everyone!
We had our weekly "TEAM" meeting today and they are very pleased with Jordans progress over the last 2 weeks. They have made some changes and modified her schedule again. They feel that Jordan is not getting the rest time she needs for her recovery. The "TEAM" has addressed Jimmy and I and asked that we modify her visitations to weeknights Monday-Friday from 6pm-7pm and only 10 minutes per person and Saturday & Sunday's from 2-4 and 6-7pm. Resting is very important for Jordan's healing and therapy right and without the proper rest time she does not want to interact with the therapists at all. Her schedule now looks like this;
7:30am-7:45am = Doctors rounds
7:45am-8:30am = Wash up, dressed and Breakfast
8:30am-10:30am = PT/OT
10:30am-11:00am = Dr. Beck's team
11:30-12:30am = Speech
= Teacher
= Lunch
12:30-2:30pm = "REST" (no interuptions)
2:30pm-3:30pm = PT/OT
3:30pm-4:30pm = "REST" (no interuptions)
4:30pm-5:00pm = Child Life
5:00pm-6:00pm = Supper
6:00pm-7:00pm = limited visitors / 10 minutes per person
7:00pm-8:00pm = Shower & downtime
8:00pm - Lights Out !

Although Jordan is doing so well she is tired very easily. Every part of her day makes her tired. We do not want to discourage visits as she really needs her family & friends = we will just all need to find a way to make this all work for Jordan.
She wants to go home every day. We want her to come home too but we know that aggressive therapy & consistency is what she needs at this stage. When she tells you to go home she doesnt really mean it and it is hard not to take it to heart. What she really means is I'm really tired and I need to rest.
We love you all & thank you for your thoughts & prayers and everything else you have done and are doing for us. We appreciate it sooooooooo much!

Hey Jordan!!! Sorry I didn't post sooner, I've been busy baking Shawn's pie, and writing poems with Emily. I can't even tell you how happy I am to hear that you're doing so much better!! Emily and I are gonna come up as soon as we possibly can! I really wish we lived closer.
It's too cold to sleep in the loft now, so I don't have to pay rent to Shawn anymore, atleast, I hope not. If he keeps jacking up my rent, I might not be able to afford to stay in the barn anymore! Jeezum!!

Windham Middle School is keeping a record of all the donations collected for you. You should see how many people bought your cards! They are all on the wall outside the office. The wall is almost covered in them. I'm so PROUD of you Jordan Bea!! I BELIEVE in you and I HOPE you get STRONGER and HEALTHIER each day. You knocked me speechless. Hi Jordan Bea!!!

I can't even put in words how proud I am of you, let alone how proud everyone else is. Instead of presents I'm asking for donations for your fund. I hpe it will help you guys out a little. I miss you so much and am remembering different memories each day. Remember when we were playing with the scooters in the Birchwood parking lot? I tripped and scratched a layer of skin off of my throat on the edge of the scooter. Also, all the games we used to play. And when Crystal knocked my tooth out when we were playing tag. We had some pretty good tomes didn't we? You don't know how much I miss you. I BELIEVE in you Jordan Bea! I HOPE you're home by Christmas. You most definatly will be. I have FAITH in you and your friends that you met while you were in the hospital. I HOPE you get better and they do to. I know it might not feel right that they get out of the hospital before you or you before them. Just know that when either of you get out, you will write letters to them just like we write to you. I LOVE you so much. We all LOVE you so much! WE BELIEVE IN YOU JORDAN BEA!!!

Even though it was a very long visit...I was so happy to see you on Saturday. You look beautiful (as always) ;). I saw that your nails were painted and you just got your hair cut! They are doing a great job over there keeping up with you! Your room is pretty cool, especially that one wall, it is completely covered, with pictures and decorations. You also had your Red Sox shirt on all ready for the world series! You made my day when you smiled and waved to me, Jordan your are my hero, someone I look up to because you and your family are so strong. Keep up the good work, you surprise everyone with the progress and strength. Believe, and have faith in yourself, because I know I do!
