TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

Hi Everyone!
We had our weekly "TEAM" meeting today and they are very pleased with Jordans progress over the last 2 weeks. They have made some changes and modified her schedule again. They feel that Jordan is not getting the rest time she needs for her recovery. The "TEAM" has addressed Jimmy and I and asked that we modify her visitations to weeknights Monday-Friday from 6pm-7pm and only 10 minutes per person and Saturday & Sunday's from 2-4 and 6-7pm. Resting is very important for Jordan's healing and therapy right and without the proper rest time she does not want to interact with the therapists at all. Her schedule now looks like this;
7:30am-7:45am = Doctors rounds
7:45am-8:30am = Wash up, dressed and Breakfast
8:30am-10:30am = PT/OT
10:30am-11:00am = Dr. Beck's team
11:30-12:30am = Speech
= Teacher
= Lunch
12:30-2:30pm = "REST" (no interuptions)
2:30pm-3:30pm = PT/OT
3:30pm-4:30pm = "REST" (no interuptions)
4:30pm-5:00pm = Child Life
5:00pm-6:00pm = Supper
6:00pm-7:00pm = limited visitors / 10 minutes per person
7:00pm-8:00pm = Shower & downtime
8:00pm - Lights Out !

Although Jordan is doing so well she is tired very easily. Every part of her day makes her tired. We do not want to discourage visits as she really needs her family & friends = we will just all need to find a way to make this all work for Jordan.
She wants to go home every day. We want her to come home too but we know that aggressive therapy & consistency is what she needs at this stage. When she tells you to go home she doesnt really mean it and it is hard not to take it to heart. What she really means is I'm really tired and I need to rest.
