I have had the great privilege of knowing Jordan ever since Brenda worked at the Cathy Manchester Team a few years ago. She has gone from child to pre-teen right before our eyes, but one things has remained the same: she has always been the sweetest little girl I know. She has a smile that lights up the room. She's so happy that just being in her presence makes you happy too.
On her first day of summer vacation this June, I showed up to show the house to some fellow Realtors. Jordan, (still in PJs) was not expecting me but she was, still, more then happy to help prepare the house and take the dogs outside for me. She smiled her ever bright smile and talked to me about how excited she was to race as she sat by her computer in the kitchen. I can still see, in my mind's eye, here beautiful face, and feel her presence. When I think about Jordan I remember the sunshine she brought to my day every single time I ever saw her.
You can still feel that brightness radiating from her in her room at the hospital. I look at her and expect her to wake up and smile and restore the world to all that is right. I look forward to the moment when Jordan is awake and present with us, fully, once again. Until then I close my eyes and feel the sunshine of a smile from the sweetest little girl I know. ~Katie Manchester
