AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!
The walk/run for Jordan was amazing yesterday!!! Jimmy & I have heard about the community getting together and we are so glad we came to see it in person. We were overwhelmed with the support for Jordan and us as well. It was so good to see everyone and we talked about it afterwards saying some people may have talked to us and we have no idea what they said (we were having Jordan's "blonde moments"). We cannot thank you all enough. That boosted us up so high and was amazing to see all these families pulling together and realizing it was for us!
I have to tell you all that the speech I wrote was written about a week ago. One morning I got up early and walked from RM house to Jordan's hospital room and pulled out my journal and sat beside her and just started writing. It came from the heart. Then I knew I wanted to share it with all of you so we picked the walk for me to read it. I thought for sure I would never get through it but surprised myself and my family for doing it! I too am shy like Jordan but I got strenght knowing that it would help us and her and to tell you all more about her.
One thing I left out is that our friends (@ the farm in NH) bought Jordan a 4 year old horse.
They showed Jordan pictures of the horse the weekend before the accident up a our camp in Solon. Jordan could not wait to get through the following week because on Friday we were driving her down to New Hampshire to meet her horse and to name it. That day never came (YET) so we are not sure what Jordan had picked for a name or whether or not she wanted her to keep the same name (Cochena). She is beautiful. She is Arabian and white with unusual markings on her. She has big eyes like Jordan and we tell Jordan she is "one of a kind" just like her owner. The plan will be to someday bring her to our new home in Windham.
Our new house is on Route 115 (know today as Tanberg Trail). We are very close to the Windham/West Gray line. Jordan knew about this house and has been to it several times as we have been working on this for 7 months. The rules were ~ we could move as long as we stayed in Windham because Jordan wanted to stay in her school with all of her friends. But now we are very close to my family which is going to be great fun! and we have grammy living with us.
The house is a ranch so it is all one level and open concept so it will be easy to get around in.
We cannot wait to bring Jordan home! We cannot wait for her 1st sleepover their with her friends!!
Jordans nurse kept a journal for us yesterday while we were gone so that we would not miss anything that happened. They are so wonderful to us at the hospital. The nurses are now fighting over who gets to take care of her. The day and night nurses!! I took the leftover goodies to them yesterday and everyone in the Barbara Bush Wing says "THANK YOU" very much! They were very pleased to here about everything to happen yesterday and to see the smile on our faces. It was a great day! Jordan had a great day! We cannot wait for our weekly "TEAM" meeting tomorrow to see what all of the treating doctors and therapists have to say about Jordan. We will keep you updated!
Again "thank you for yesterday" ~ thank you for your generosity ~ and most of all thank you for keeping Jordan close to your heart and in your prayers!
Love: Jimmy, Brenda & Jordan

p.s. We gave Jordan all of your hugs yesterday!!! Remember hug someone & "pass it on"!
