HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We sure have alot to be thankful for this year! You will all be our prayers.
Lots to say this time. We had Jordans weekly 'TEAM" meeting on Tuesday. As ususal they discussed her AMAZING progress. They have set the date in 4 weeks to come home.
She will be home the week before Christmas. We will discuss tutors at home and therapy at home for a week or so and then in January I will start taking her to outpatient therapy every day. She had her G-Tube taken out Tuesday as well. This is the tube in her stomach by which she was eating and receiving medicine. Now Jordan takes everything by mouth.
She has had lots of visitors lately mostly friends. I cannot tell you how it makes me feel to watch her smile and look at her friends with such passion. It warms my heart so much to see her so happy again. Thank you all for coming in. Bradley and Johnny ~ love the video. After you left Jordan had me watch it again and again today. It is really great.
We are bringing Jordan home tomorrow for Thanksgiving. She is excited to be going home again but it is sad to have to bring her back.
On Saturday evening, Jordan surprised everyone at the Beechridge Banquet at the Holiday Inn by the Bay by making an appearance and picking up her trophy. This was mine and Jimmy's dream for her to do this year but we were thinking that it was not going to happen. Of course we would have loved it if she could have walked across the stage to get her trophy but that's o.k. she will walk again some day. It was so great to see everyone but it was very overwhelming and emotional. It went by so fast and I forgot to take pictures. So if anyone has any pictures of the Banquet ~ could I please arrange to get copies from you. I forgot to take the pictures at the hospital after she was dressed. I was so caught up in the moments that night that I didn't even think of it!
It was so worth it to see Jordans face. She was so happy and excited to see everyone. It truely made our night and the doctors and nurses are all admiring her trophies. They also agree with Jordan's "2007 Person of The Year" trophy. She has earned it.
We are blessed and we are Thankful!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving & God Bless You All !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love: Brenda, Jimmy & Jordan
